my four year old son is half black, half white. im the white one. his dad is out of the picture and has been for the past four+ years. he is growing up in a white/mexican area. we dont see color and he has yet to notice that he looks much different from the rest of us. i dread the day he does or is influenced to notice his skin color. what do i do that day? what are the odds that he’ll be picked on or bullied or called racist names?
